EVERYTHING YOU NEED

At Kloofs Holiday Park we not only offer the perfect base to explore the delights of East Sussex, we also have a range of on park facilities to ensure your break is stress free and enjoyable.

Reception

Our reception is open daily from 8am – 10pm during the summer season (mid-March to mid-September) and 9am – 4pm during the winter season (mid-September to mid-March), however arrivals are welcome outside of these hours by prior arrangement. Reception is your key point of contact during the booking process, your stay and after you’ve departed. Whilst we have every confidence that you will have an enjoyable stay, should anything not meet your expectations then we would be pleased to hear from you so that we can try to rectify things (unfortunately not the weather but anything within our control).

Shop

Our shop is situated in the reception building, open daily from 9am until 7pm during the Summer season and from 9am until 4pm during the Winter season. The shop stocks basic items that you may have forgotten, fresh milk, drinks and sweets as well as Calor Gas and camping hardware. During the Summer season, we also stock ice creams and fresh local produce (such as eggs, bacon, sausages and BBQ meats, Kloofs honey and dairy products) and we’re also able to freeze your ice blocks.

Campers' lounge

Situated outside of reception, there is a Campers’ Lounge where you can pick up your free WiFi. There is a variety of tourist information on the walls and shelves to help you plan your stay. There are also some books and games that you are welcome to use during the stay. Either play in the Campers’ Lounge or borrow them but please return them after your use so others can enjoy them too!

Play Park

Our play park is perfect for our younger guests, they can meet their friends, make new ones and play in a safe, secure environment. Suitable for children up to 10 years old, the play park is situated at the top of the touring field. Enclosed by a mature hedgerow access to the park is limited to an entrance from the touring field. The activity frame has a climbing net, tyres to climb on, a slide, a couple of wobbly bridges, a climbing bar and a ramp. Surrounded by an impact absorbing rubber safety surface, the kids will love spending their days playing. There’s also a picnic bench for the parents.

Sports square

If the kids need more space to play we have the sports square where they can kick a ball around, play catch or just enjoy running around with their friends. Suitable for all ages our small, level sports square is adjacent to the touring field and the horse field. Large enough to play badminton or volleyball, this dedicated area provides space for the children (and grown ups) to let off steam away from the touring field. At the bottom of the static park, set on a hill, is a natural field that is used for exercising dogs or for playing games in more space.

Top service cabins

Central to our 5 star touring park is our modern, centrally heated toilet and shower block, providing a superior standard of facilities for all campers. The calmly decorated, bright and airy toilets and private washing wells are definitely one of the best you’ll have ever used. When there is snow outside your feet are warmed by the under-floor heating, whilst the shower cubicles are large, clean and come with hot, high powered, body and head sprays. The large individual personal washing wells, complete with vanity unit and mirror provide ample space for getting ready to start the day. In addition to the free hot water, there are also free hand and hair dryers.

For those with younger children, there is a large family shower room. Additionally, we cater for baby bathing and changing as well as accessible facilities.

Located next to the toilet block is a chemical waste disposal room for cassette toilet emptying and cleaning. Nearby there is a sewage dump point for use by relevant vehicles.

Kitchen

On the corner of the Top Service Cabin is a campers’ kitchen, equipped with several sinks.

Laundry facilities

Next to the Top Service Cabin is a laundry room with coin-operated washing machine, tumble dryer, and iron for those who want to look their best, all the time.

Bottom Service Cabin

Our second service cabin is located in the middle of the touring park at the entrance to the East Paddock touring field. The facility is a more traditional unisex block which has additional toilets and showers, as well as bidets, baby changing facilities, a washing up and food prep area and even a pet shower. By the side of the block there is a chemical disposal point and recycling facilities. Designed with an eco mindset, the aim of the block is to reduce and conserve energy, operate in a summer environment and have minimal lighting so as not to impact the night vistas that are so pure in this part of the world.

Park Recycling

Throughout the park, we promote recycling and provide the various bins/units to collect your separated waste. We empty the bins several times a day during the peak season and combine the waste at our recycling hub near reception.

High Woods

At the top of the park, by reception is the start of High Woods. Backing on to Kloofs, the woods are suitable for exercising the dogs or for older children and families to explore. By following one of our walks you are able to get to the road and cross into the main woods. The woods are not owned or managed by Kloofs, but are public woods that offer plenty of space, trees to climb, wildlife, ponds and another play park.
